Bridget Mary Meehan S.F.C.C., D Min. is a member of Sisters for Christian Community, and has been host presenter for "American Families in a Christian Perspective," - a TV special sponsored by the U.S. Catholic Conference on CTNA.

Her previous books includes: The Healing Power of Prayer (Liguori), Exploring the Feminine Face of God (Sheed & Ward) and God Delights In You (Twenty-Third Publications). She has served as a conference speaker, retreat director and workshop leader; and currently is producer and host of the cable public access series, "GodTalk".

Once again, Bridget Mary Meehan goes through the wide fields of scripture, early Christian and medieval tradition, and contemporary writers, harvesting a grain here, a berry there, a nut from somewhere else. Combining these overlooked images of the feminine divine, she has baked a fine and helpful book.
